Lovely location and an amazing view

What a pleasure it was to stay here! You could ask for better hosts and the view is amazing. After a nice long day you can go sit in the hot tub on the 2nd floor and look out at the mountains.Very clean and loved the fact that there's a shared fully functional kitchen and even BBQ to cook whatever it is you need. Would definitely come back and stay here.

BEWAREWent to hostel as walk in.Said they would charge $100 deposit-cash-per night on top of nightly charge!We said no thanks, as it seemed dodgy-hostels never charge deposits, and even the Hilton only charges $75 deposit!!!So we left.However…we were charged anyways!And when I called to get my money back…as this was an illegal charge…I didn’t sign for it!The hostel hung up on me!

My finance and I recently books a week long stay at this bed and breakfast, when we first arrived we were a little disappointed that there was not a full size kitchen as we had asked about while booking. The room was ok but could use some TLC. They must of been short on house keepers as there were many areas of the room that were neglected to be cleaned, im asthmatic and did not appreciate the giant dust bunnies under the bed. I was also disappointed with the set up of the room as I had booked the room as a getaway to relax and couldn't even watch TV in bed, or anywhere comfortable for that matter. The TV was located in the kitchen of all places along with 2 single chairs to relax on. I will say that the view was absolutely beautiful but we had a hard time relaxing as there was terrible sound proofing & could hear the owners speaking to eachother clear as day while i was trying to sleep despite the noise the bed was very uncomfortable and old. I smashed my legs on the bulky bed frames several times during my stay....I was uncomfortable doing laundry as it caused the two owners to begin arguing but in there own language so we could not understand what they were saying. The worst part of our stay was the lack of privacy the owners came into our suite unnouced several times and even went threw are garbage (i think that illegal but I could be wrong) we had a friend pick us up one day and when the owners saw our friend they accused us of having a third person staying in our suite and demanded more money for extra person.Over ALL I didnt feel very valued as a customer, I felt unwelcomed and was quite disappointed with the entire experience i would not recommend this place for any reason other then the magnificent view, I hope anyone else who stays there has a better experience then we did

This place is a hidden gem that needs to be experienced by all! Not only do you get amazing hosts in Mary and Josh, you get a beautiful room, amazing food and the property does not disappoint! Want to sit in peace? Enjoy a cup of coffee beside the pond or river. Want some activity? Grab the kayak or paddle board and tackle the river! Want to socialize? Grab a drink and sit on the common deck. This place has it all. I spent 10 glorious days there and every minute was magical. In all honesty, this was my first B and B experience but the bar was set very high by Mary and Josh. If you enjoy B and Bs then you MUST stay here!

Very pleasant stay. Ken & Emma are very friendly! The place itself is cute and has everything you need. Location is pretty good too. The only thing is there was some slight smell in the room but it might not bother those who don’t have a very sensitive nose.

Very cozy, well furnished, spotlessly clean. Beautiful yard and private trail right to the river if need be. Perfect place to go as a romantic getaway or as a solo break. Excellent place to take your dog too. Very friendly family and the best breakfasts I have ever had away from home.

I went there are a summer church camp and it was a very good experience. The rooms were nice and clean and the washrooms were great! I hope to visit this place again soon.

I've stayed here on many occasions

Very good location, very quiet and just 10-min walk to shopping center/restaurants. Room is very comfortable. Free breakfast, very tasty and abundant. The host family is very nice. We do appreciate. Highly recommend.
